Tescom, the global leader in independent software quality assurance and testing, announced today that the City of Atlanta has hired Tescom to perform specific services in support of their $22 million Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. “The ERP implementation is an integral part of the City’s business transformation as it enhances its effectiveness while reducing the cost of operating,” states Abe Kani, Chief Information Officer for the City. “Having an independent company assure the quality of the project is important for ensuring success.” Tescom is responsible for providing quality assurance auditing and ongoing risk analysis and management to ensure the successful completion of the project, providing end-to-end independent verification & validation (IV&V) testing of the 30 most critical business processes and providing support for the City Auditor Office as they build the capabilities required to audit Oracle ERP applications and modules. “Our methodology focuses on identifying the customer’s most critical business scenarios and verifying their completeness and full integration prior to go-live,” states Golan Avraham, global enterprise software practice director for Tescom. “We are pleased to be helping the City achieve success with this important project.” |
