Tescom in Partnership Launches IT Quality Program for Government and Education

Tescom USA in partnership with Compuware Corporation and the not-for-profit Northwest Regional Data Center (NWRDC) launches a unique managed services program at the Government Technology Conference (GTC) Southeast in Atlanta, the nation’s largest technology conference for state and local government.

This program, hosted by the NWRDC, features Compuware’s Application Reliability Solution® (CARS®) along with Tescom’s Quality Assurance and Testing services. This methodology-driven offering is intended to bring a holistic quality assurance solution to its member government and education entities in the southeast U.S.

NWRDC members will have access to CARS, Compuware’s comprehensive quality management and testing solution together with Tescom’s Software Quality Assurance and Testing consultants and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services. This unique QA offering will initially be deployed in Florida and Georgia - for use in state agencies, local government, and K-20 education. The partnership will allow our customers the ability to improve their software quality, reliability and performance, while reducing risk and costs.

NWRDC provides information technology services and support through a state-of-the-art data center designed to deliver customer specific solutions, from hosting and network services to technology training for schools and state agencies. The partnership with Tescom and Compuware will allow the NWRDC to greatly expand the range of services to their current customers and with potential growth throughout the southeastern U.S.

Tescom’s consultants are dedicated exclusively to Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing. As the services provider for this program, Tescom’s role is to ensure the effective utilization of the CARS suite of tools in each client environment. Proactive, thorough and well-planned Quality Assurance and Testing, provided by an independent party, has consistently proven to prevent both small but numerous inefficiencies as well as highly visible and costly project failures.
