Please select your language: English, French or Hebrew French Ministry of Finance Extends contract with Tescom France Tescom was first contracted by the French Ministry of Finance (Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI)) in 2005 to improve customer service and internal processes in the Tax and Inland Revenue Department of the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry. Following the successful completion of this original three-year contract, Tescom is pleased to announce that DGI has renewed the relationship and, in response to a public bid, chosen Tescom for the technical IT validation for the French Ministry of Finance (DGFIP). This deal includes two parts:
The DGI service merged with the DGCP in 2008 to become the new DGFIP sand therefore, this project is larger than the previous one, including all DGCP activity. Furthermore, the new deal has an increased scope in terms of type of activities including, for example, code analysis. For that purpose, Tescom has partnered with a company called CAST Software, a major player in that sector in France.
Mr. Mathieu Constans, Delivery Manager at Tescom France, says, “This news confirms Tescom’s ability to show added value and effectiveness on big accounts. The testing project for DGFIP is the biggest testing deal in IT data management in France.”
